Maybe an unusual choice for Debbie’s one word challenge with the theme of wheels – but what is a girl with a brand new macro lens to do 🙂

FOTD – Dandelion

I’m a bit lucky – I got the macro lens I’ve been hankering after for an early birthday present.

It wasn’t the best day to take it for a first shoot – it was really a bit windy to be photographing flowers and leaves. Its going to take a bit of practice to get really comfortable with how close to get and whats the best aperture in different circumstances.

I did get 3 or 4 photos that I was relatively happy with for a first effort – including this one.
