New Zealand is currently at Covid Alert Level 4. This is pretty much a lockdown although we are permitted to go for walks outside in our immediate neighbourhood (so long as we only go out with those in our household “bubble” and maintain social distance from others).
During this time people are putting teddy bears and others in their windows for children to spot on their family walks
In our window are Gorilla, Blind Ted(dy Bear), Possum, Chewbacca and Eeyore

Despite its delicate appearance this teacup (which was my Nana’s) has survived numerous earthquakes in two different cities over the past eight years.
Office buildings I was working in both in Christchurch and Wellington have not been so lucky and were so extensively damaged that they had to be demolished.

I had a pretty busy day at work today and so couldn’t get out before, at lunch, or after with my camera.
So my contribution to Cee’s Fun Foto challenge is a quick and sneaky shot of my partner as we watch news coverage of political events across in Australia

Six word Saturday (Caturday?)
Last Sunday I went to a gig for the first time in a couple of years.
The headline act was a band I was a big fan of back in the 1980s, and their greatest hits orientated set was a wonderful nostalgia blast.
But equally enjoyable was catching up with my brother who was in the support act, and then later watching him perform (that’s him on the left)
