Last Sunday I went to a gig for the first time in a couple of years.
The headline act was a band I was a big fan of back in the 1980s, and their greatest hits orientated set was a wonderful nostalgia blast.
But equally enjoyable was catching up with my brother who was in the support act, and then later watching him perform (that’s him on the left)

….not that I need much of an excuse to take photos of P. Cat or to pull out my nifty fifty lens.
She’s got a bit of a scratch on her nose. There is a new cat in the neighbourhood and there is a bit of a feeling out period going on. Fortunately this latest battle scar doesn’t seem to bad – a bite on her rump around Christmas necessitated a visit to the vet.

I haven’t posted as many photos of Lief as I have of my other nephew and nieces, but Nicola’s challenge theme of child is a good excuse
Joey lives two doors down the road – or at least he did until his hutch blew over in a storm last week. He spent most of Saturday happily munching on the weeds in our potato patch and steadfastly thwarting our efforts to catch him.
We haven’t seen him since – so hopefully he made his way home.
