The end of the Johnsonville line for Debbie’s weekly quotation inspired challenge which is Winston Churchill’s
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”

Whairepo Lagoon
Whairepo Lagoon on the Wellington waterfront did not have an official name until 2015. It had long been known informally as Frank Kitts lagoon after the long serving mayor for whom the surrounding park is named or simply as The Lagoon.
Whairepo is the Maori name for the eagle rays that to this day shelter and feed there.
