Island Bay to Sinclair Head

I posted a bit of a sneak preview yesterday but there was more to yesterday’s walk out to Sinclair Head than the seals

On a sunny Sunday, Island Bay is always full of humans young and old, and their four legged friends, enjoying the weather

A chance to capture some leading lines and the eponymous Island

and the fishing boats which just cried out for a bit of editing

and chat to a slightly eccentric local who does this with stones and seemed quite chuffed that I stopped for a photo and a chat.

Of course whatever else I might say, in winter these guys really are the star of the show

Even if not the only wildlife around

Most of the seals are only around till September so this walk is usually a once a year sort of thing.
