The Tauherenikau Races a couple of years ago were my first attempt at event photography. As well as taking photos of the group from Lovelocks Sports Bar who I had gone with, I also shot others in the crowd including these two.
The cherry on top – the Wairarapa local captured on the left is All Black rugby legend Sir Brian Lochore.
