The Weekly Photo Challenge is asking us what is our happy place – “Where do you go when you need to think? What do you do when you need to restore yourself, to ready yourself to take on the coming week with energy and verve? How do you get your sense of humor back? How do you recharge your groove?”
For me a weekend when I can get out for a long walk, either in the Wellington alleyways or on the South coast fits the bill. Even more so if I have my camera with me – and even if, as on Sunday, the light is a bit harsh for photography.

Let me say that it happens to be a little cut off my usual route….but I understand that spending a weekend here can recharge everybody ‘s groove!
