SL-WEEK 14: Memory

This week, Sylvain’s challenge is to “go merrily this week with these places full of history that explodes in our memory“.  This shot is taken at Wellington’s Basin Reserve.  The plaque commemorates several milestones that were reached during New Zealand’s second innings in the Test March against India last year.  Captain Brendon McCullum became the first New Zealander to score 300 runs in an innings, and the team’s 680 was New Zealand’s highest ever score.
