Sunset at Teouma Bay, Vanuatu for Travel Theme: Gleaming.

This week the weekly photo theme of Today was a Good Day is asking us to piece together a memorable day.
I only have to go back to yesterday for mine. Peter and I are visiting our friend Helen who lives and works in Port Vila, Vanuatu.
Yesterday we started the day with a leisurely coffee on the deck while Helen popped in to the office for a 9:00 am meeting.
Then, once Helen got back it was off for a drive around the island of Efate.
We started off at the National Museum where the welkam man was skilled in the art of sand drawing
On the drive it was very sobering to see some of the damage from Cyclone Pam, but here was still a lot of beauty to be seen.
We stopped off at the Wahoo Bar for the view …
…. and some coconut crab for lunch
Then later in the evening it was off to Mele for the sunset
and the fire show
all in all a very good day
Jude over at Travel Words has dug out a photo of a cool post box and asked us if we have any interesting ones to share. As it happens, I came across this scene on the top of Mt Yasur on Tanna Island, Vanuatu earlier in the week.
