Regular readers of my blog may have cottoned on to the fact that Wellington is notorious for its wind. Hence, while we don’t technically get cyclones here, the Super Rugby franchise based in the city is known as the Hurricanes. The ‘Canes have have their best ever season – topping both the New Zealand Conference and the overall table during the regular season. On Saturday they will face the Brumbies in a semi-final.
The ‘Canes have put their fans on a roller coaster ride over their history. It was after this game, against the Crusaders that I started to believe that this season might be the one.

Very nice take. I love all the bright flags against the dark clothing. It was have been a cold day, but the wind adds nicely to the image 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing.
