Mt KauKau is the highest point in Wellington, New Zealand. It gives great 360 degree views. It’s only about an hours walk from the park entry to the top.
I thought it sounded like New Zealand, but I wasn’t sure. Do you live in Wellington then? I visited NZ for the first time in December, only the Raglan area, but I fell in love with the country. So beautiful.

Thanks for the link. That is SOME view! And it looks as though you had to make some climb to get up there! Where is Mt KauKau?

Yep I live in Wellington. Are you into surfing that you went to Raglan?

Haha… not quite, though I don’t mind watching them. No, my son’s partner’s parents live there and it was a family holiday. Lovely spot though.
