In memory of Terry Pratchett who died last week, Ailsa’s travel theme is all things fantastic and fantastical.
It seems that Pratchett’s views on Tolkien may have been somewhat complicated. I’ve seen him reported as saying that Tolkien was his favourite fantasy author (although it sounds like that might have been out of exasperation at being asked the question so often) but what I really like this quote I read from him
